Sit-Down Tastings are available on a first come, first served basis and last an average of 15-20 minutes. Reservations for groups of 6 or more are requested so we can accommodate everyone in a timely manner. A 15% gratuity will be added onto groups of 6 or more. Currently our wine tasting includes a selection of eight Rocky River Vineyards wines, samples of our wine slushies and, seasonally, hot mulled wine. The cost for a tasting is $10 + tax per person. A souvenir glass with a tasting is an additional $3. We do offer 1 – 2 samples free of charge, if you are just trying to find the right wine for you! We do not require reservations for less than 6 people. Must be 21+ to participate in tastings.
Wine Flights are available as well for $5 each and consist of 5 - 1oz sample pours of whatever wines you choose. Flights are great for trying a few of your top choices at your own pace. A souvenir glass can also be purchased with a flight for an additional $3.
Beer is an another option for those who want something different! Currently, we offer 5 types of beer.
Charcuteries and cheese straws are just a couple of the hearty snacks we have available to pair with your wine or wine tastings. We have a variety of meat sticks and cheeses to choose from.
Our Gift Shop, is located inside the white house and has a selection of unique gifts and crafts made by local artists, as well as wine and vineyard related items. While we do not have a restaurant on site, we do have charcuteries and nibbles that go well with our wines. There are many local restaurants nearby as well. We encourage guests to bring a picnic to enjoy at the vineyard with a glass or bottle of your favorite wine.
Please note – the only alcohol allowed at Rocky River Vineyards is that which is made and managed by our staff/purchased onsite. Outside alcohol is not permitted on site and will result in a request for your departure of the vineyard.
Important: Children must be accompanied by a parent at ALL TIMES in the tasting room, gift shop, bathrooms, patio, porch, pavilion, and any other part of our property. No children are to be unattended.
Tours: At this time we do not offer a formal tour of the wine making facility, but we do have self-guided walking tours. Our staff is also more than happy to answer any questions about the vineyard, wine making process, etc. The rest of the property is open for our guests to walk. We welcome you to take pictures, walk down to the vines, and enjoy the scenery. The only exception to this is on wedding days we ask our guests to respect the wedding party and stay away from the ceremony and reception sites. Otherwise we are still open our regular hours on wedding days.
Throughout the year we offer a few events, including Spring and Fall Festivals, Christmas Open House, Valentine’s Party, 4th of July, Dog Days, Camping in the Vines, and more! Check out the “Events” menu above for more details.
